Material covered includes image representation, sampling/quantization, spatial/frequency concepts, image enhancement, color image theory, unitary image transforms, image data compression, image models, image coding, image restoration, feature extraction and description.  Computer implementations of concepts and algorithms are introduced. Department Managed Prerequisite(s): Graduate level EE 6000 Minimum Grade of C and Matlab Basics
