ME 3120 - Mechanics of MaterialsCredit Hour(s): 3 Introduction to stress and deformation in deformable solids. Topics include axial loading, torsion, pure bending, shear stresses in beams, design of beams under transverse loading, thin-wall pressure vessels, transformation of stress, stresses under combined loadings, deflection of beams and buckling.
