Dive Into the Future

Starting June 5, 2023
Wright State University

Interested in cutting-edge technology? Looking to explore a field that’s rapidly growing—including right here in Dayton?

Attend Wright State University’s summer camp in microelectronics and learn about the foundations of 21st century computing and communication. You’ll discover a field that could give you not only a rewarding career but even a chance to help with crucial modern issues like consumer privacy, malicious cyberattacks, and national security.

These four summer camps will explore the practical aspects of microelectronics, vulnerabilities related to hardware manufacturing, hands-on lab work in the design and fabrication of circuitboards, and in-depth study of the complex chemistry behind microfabrication.

Course Details

Camps run Monday through Friday each week.

  • Introduction to Microelectronics: June 5–18
  • Microelectronics, Design and Security: June 19–July 2
  • Introduction to Printed Circuit Boards, Fabrication, and Design: July 3–16
  • Microfabrication Cleanrooms: July 17–30
  • Introduction to Additive Manufacturing for Embedded Microelectronics: July 23–30

Open Your Own Future

Beyond being a fascinating introduction to this essential aspect of modern technology and communication, it’s also a way to get started in a growing field. As Intel is committed to expanding microelectronics operations here in the Miami Valley, this is a unique opportunity for students in this very region.
