Scholarships

Assured Digital Microelectronics Education & Training Ecosystem (ADMETE) Scholarship

  • Undergraduate only
  • $8000 annual scholarship that covers the cost of attendance 
  • These scholarships are awarded on a first-come, first-serve basis, and you must re-apply annually.
  • Applicants must meet the following requirements to be eligible for a scholarship:
    • be admitted and pursuing one of the following undergraduate majors:  Computer Engineering (CEG), Electrical Engineering (EE), or Electrical & Computer Engineering Technology (ECET)
    • sign up for the Assured and Trusted Microelectronics minor
    • take at least one course in the Assured and Trusted Microelectronics minor during the academic year of your scholarship
    • be math ready by enrolling in Math 1280 (College Algebra) or higher completed before spring term of your freshman year
    • participate in career readiness and scholarship related activities as specified by the scholarship program manager
    • maintain a 3.0 GPA

Cybersecurity (M.S.) with Cyberdefense Concentration

Complete a program study that meets the NSA specifications and receive a notation on your transcripts indicating you have completed this cyberdefense concentration.

    • CEG 6422 - Secure Computing Practices
    • CEG 6424 - Security Attacks & Defenses
    • CEG 6426 - Legal Aspects of Cybersecurity
    • CEG 6430 - Cyber Network Security

  • 1 elective course
  • 9 credit hours of thesis

Cybersecurity is big business. You can enhance your skills with a certificate in cybersecurity analytics. You will understand security vulnerabilities, threats, attacks, and mitigation solutions for modern cyber networks. This understanding of cyber risk will give you the valuable knowledge employers are looking for from their employees.

The certificate is available for both computer science and computer engineering majors. It will not add any time to your program, as the technical electives required for your degree count for the certificate.

We offer a flexible learning environment with both online and in class courses. We will provide you with the technical foundation needed to understand the major risks associated with cyberspace, and how to begin mitigating those risks.
