Title: Women in Engineering and Aviation: An Unfinished Revolution
Presenter: Eileen Bjorkman, retired U.S. Air Force Colonel and Senior Executive
Women have made great strides in many professional fields, incuding medicine and law. But the number of women in most aviation and engineering careers remains small. Eileen Bjorkman examines the issues that discourage women from entering these fields and discusses some of her own experiences as a flight test engineer in the U.S. Air Force, along with some recommendations on how the U.S. can do more to fully use the talents of women.
