Academic Performance and Need-Based Scholarships

These scholarships are offered to students who are admitted directly from high school. No separate application is necessary—just apply and be admitted for Fall 2021.

Apply to Wright State today! February 1, 2021, is the priority consideration deadline for scholarships. Funds are awarded as available.

For the 2021–22 academic year, scholarship offers will be made using a holistic approach, reviewing each student’s high school GPA, Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA), and admission application. Scholarships range from $500 to $3,500 and are renewable based on continuing to meet the criteria specified in your offer letter.

  • Academic Performance Scholarships: A minimum GPA of 3.2 is required to be considered for academic performance scholarships solely based on merit.

  • Need-based Scholarships: All students who are admitted and complete a FAFSA will be considered. Students may access the FAFSA beginning October 1, 2020. No minimum GPA is required for need-based scholarship offers.
