As a current student in the PhD in Engineering Program, you have much to look forward to: exciting opportunities to expand your engineering knowledge through course work, collaboration, and research. In your quest for the doctoral degree, you will be required to select a dissertation advisor and committee, and pass the milestones that chart your progress: the qualifying exam, candidacy exam, research proposal defense and, finally, the dissertation defense.
