The deadline for registration is 5 p.m. on March 25, 2016.
The Trebuchet Competition is open, but not limited, to students in grades 9-12 who like to have great fun while learning history, science, and math.
Ambitious students in upper middle school grades who like science and math are welcome to register, too.
Although past registrants have included students from area high schools and Explorer troops, we also invite students who are home schooled or belong to science or math clubs or other student groups, such as the 4-H Club, Girl Scouts, Boy Scouts, etc.
We have been able to procure pizza this year at a very reasonable cost: $10 per 16 inch pepperoni or cheese pizza.
Pizzas must be preordered when teams register for the competition. This will ensure that we are aware of all orders. The deadline to order pizza will coincide with the deadline for team registration, which is 5:00 pm March 25, 2016.
Payment will not be required until teams arrive at the competition. We will accept cash only and there will be a special table set up to receive payment in exchange for tickets to pick up pizza. All pizzas will be ready for pick up at 11 am. Soft drinks and water will be available, but do not need to be pre ordered and can be purchased at the pizza pick up window.
Should you need to change your order, please resubmit your registration.
In-person registration starts at 7:30 a.m. and the first round of competition is at 9 a.m.
