The deadline for registration is 5 p.m. on April 8.
The Trebuchet Competition is open, but not limited, to students in grades 9-12 who like to have great fun while learning history, science, and math.
Ambitious students in upper middle school grades who like science and math are welcome to register, too.
Although past registrants have included students from area high schools and Explorer troops, we also invite students who are home schooled or belong to science or math clubs or other student groups, such as the 4-H Club, Girl Scouts, Boy Scouts, etc.
Generally, students register as part of a team, representing their high school or student group; however, this is not a requirement of the Competition. On the day of the Competition, registrants who have their own trebuchets and are not already members of a team will be invited to form new teams if possible.
In-person registration starts at 7:30 a.m. and the first round of competition is at 9 a.m.
