The Wright State University's Department of Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) offers graduate students a chance to study a wide variety of technological fields. Our nationally acclaimed faculty allow graduate students to prepare for success in research fields of interest to academic, government, and industry institutions.

Ongoing research opportunities include research labs focusing on: Bioinformatics, Biomedical imaging, Cyber security, Cyber systems, Data-intensive analysis and cloud computing, Database, Data mining, Data semantics, Intelligent systems, Learning and natural language processing, Mobile information and wireless communication, Robotics and evolutionary computing, and Visualization. Two major centers of coordinated research effort in CSE include the Kno.e.sis Center and the Assistive-Technologies Center. In choosing the Department of Computer Science and Engineering for your M.S. or Ph.D. graduate degree students have opportunity to complete programs of study with a thorough and up-to-date understanding of their chosen research area.
